The Air Jordan 1 FlyEase may not be on everyone’s radar, but it continues to deliver compelling styles for those in the market for accessibility-focused footwear.
Recently, the modified original Air Jordan silhouette emerged in a mix of heritage colors, with black and red divvying up the majority of the leather upper. Toe boxes and overlays around the forefoot and along the tongue help create a “Bred”-like aesthetic, with panels from mid-foot to heel experimenting with the Chicago Bulls-inspired color scheme. Velcro-assisted components across the tongue and ankle inject functionality that requires less hand involvement, further expanding NIKE, Inc.’s FlyEase empire and accessibility efforts. Lastly, the Jordan 1 retro dons a straightforward look throughout its sole unit for a classic finish.
No firm Nike.com release date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
