Where To Buy The AURALEE x New Balance XC-72

AURALEE‘s unwavering simplicity — which, according to designer Ryota Iwai, is inspired by everyday weather and colors — imparts a certain charm to their collaborative efforts with New Balance. And for Fall/Winter, the brand continues to stick to these strengths, as they dress up the footwear brand’s XC-72 in two luxuriously tonal colorways.

A few things have changed since the AURALEE x New Balance XC-72 was first unveiled on the runway back in January. Color, specifically, is most distinct, with muted blues replacing brighter shades and dark browns swapping in for light tans. The construction, though, is much more familiar: the cool-tone pair opts for hairy suedes throughout, while its Autumnal counterpart prefers smoother variants of the same material.

Finished with subtle co-branding, AURALEE’s take on the XC-72 is currently on track to hit retailers on October 13th. Considering that the Japanese label’s prior collabs were limited in their rollout, it’s unlikely we’ll see a wider launch through NewBalance.com. That could change, however, so sit tight as we await further release details.
