A Bright Sport Royal Covers The Nike Air Force 1 Mid “40th Anniversary”

The Nike Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary celebration has included the silhouette’s mid-top counterpart, which recently surfaced in a commemorative “Sport Royal” option.

Akin to previously-seen pairs of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a rather tonal arrangement across their leather upper. “White” profile swooshes and upper heel panels break up the uniform look, as does the golden miniature logos at the lateral forefoot. Labels on the top of the tongue, heel areas, sock-liners and lace dubraes all make reference to the Air Force 1’s 40th birthday (even though the Air Force 1 Mid technically debuted in 1994). Underfoot, the sole unit also boasts a hit of the titular “Sport Royal” flair from up-top.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.

In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 continues to release in new styles.
