The Jordan Granville Pro isn’t likely to dethrone any pair within the core Air Jordan lineup, but the silhouette continues to grow in popularity among consumers looking for heritage-inspired lifestyle product.
Recently, the 23 Engineered line’s modern proposition emerged with “Ocean Cube” flair across a predominantly “Off-Noir” ensemble. Although the model is its own creation, it bears resemblance to handfuls of Nike Running shoes from the 1970s and ’80s, especially when inspecting the outsole. Formula 23 delivers reliable cushioning to the pair, while a series of materials – exposed foam, fuse, canvas, mesh, suede – create an experimental aesthetic across the sneaker’s upper. Hits of the aforementioned blue tone evoke University of North Carolina heritage while simultaneously keeping what’s expected to be a fall/winter drop from completely indulging in a dark color scheme.
No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
