Jared Ebanks This morning Marvel and movie fans alike were treated to the official trailer of Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. From getting an up-close look at the new Vibranium-laced suit to catching never-before-seen glimpses at the MCU’s new anti-hero – Namor – the upcoming blockbuster is enjoying a roll-out unlike any other, working in tandem with adidas to release a full Wakanda Forever Collection featuring a bevy of apparel pieces and training silhouettes. Amidst Patrick Mahomes’ Impact FLX and the adidas Ultra 4D, the UltraBOOST 5.0 DNA is the latest model to join the troupe.
Centered around the sock-like construction of its “Core Black” PRIMEKNIT upper, light violet accents emanate from the underlying stitching, mimicking the kinetic energy return within the Panther’s suit while color-matched Wakandan emblems litter the laces. Pitch-dark caging comes fit with reflective Three Stripes whereas the mudguard renders a hexagonal pattern at the forefoot and secondary graphic adorning the heel counter in a black and white offering. Underfoot, the heralded BOOST midsole comes clad in a “Cloud White” shade whereas the tread indulges in a splattered ensemble anchored by strokes of “Tribe Purple”.
