Nike Dips The Air Force 1 In “Picante Red”

Nike Dips The Air Force 1 In “Picante Red”

Nike has used the Air Force 1‘s 40th birthday as an excuse to deliver colorways in excess. And though already halfway through said year-long celebration, the releases have not yet begun to slow as the brand has just unveiled yet another new pair, this one clad almost entirely in “Picante Red.”

Despite its bold choice of palette, this Air Force 1 is not quite as inventive as past additions to the anniversary catalog. Lacking in any overt nods to the last four decades, the pair is almost entirely bathed in the above-mentioned red. The leather paneling, laces, lining, and tongue are all dyed in said shade, contrasting the seldom instances of white that mark the midsole, the Swoosh’s outline, and the adjacent branding.

For a closer look at this upcoming Air Force 1, check out the official images below. These should hit Nike.com and select retailers soon, so sit tight.
