Aaron Judge doesn’t have his own signature shoe, but he’s reaped the benefits of being in the spotlight with a number of special footwear gifts over the last few years. Recently, the New York Yankee – formerly with adidas and currently with New Balance – helped unveil another “Multi-Patent” Nike Air Force 1 Low by UNDEFEATED.
Akin to two previously-seen pairs, the newly-surfaced proposition delivers a disparate, colorful ensemble atop Bruce Kilgore’s 40-year-old design. The Los Angeles-based institution hasn’t disclosed the inspiration behind its latest collaboration with the Swoosh, but the use of glossy leather and experimental tones are surely a nod to the early aughts, an era during which the Air Force 1 was mixing-and-matching like it hadn’t before. UNDFTD’s “strike-out” logo is debossed on the lateral heel, while also appearing on the top of the tongue. The remainder of the shoe is left to indulge in hits of teal, blue, yellow and grey, with sole units opting for a clean off-white look.
Enjoy another look at the collaborative pair ahead, as you wait for official Nike SNKRS launch details before the year ends.
