Michael Le Originally released in 1979, the adidas Top Ten was once the brand’s flagship basketball sneaker. And though initially designed for the NBA’s brightest athletes, the silhouette resurged in 2014 as a lifestyle icon, delivering numerous inline colorways as well as collaborations with the likes of Star Wars and even 2 Chainz. For Fall 2022, the Three Stripes is once again expanding upon the shoe’s catalog, dressing the classic up in three college style make-ups.
The color blocking across the entire pack is largely the same, with the “Shadow Maroon” and “Core Black” pairs sharing the most similarities. Alongside flaunting its titular hue across much of the upper, the two feature white stripes and trims as well as “Grey One” panels along the toe and heel. Many of the latter fixtures are replaced with black along the third colorway, whose base and lace unit are rendered a dark “Mineral Green.”
