The New Balance 2002R “Calm Taupe” Is Available Now

The New Balance 2002R “Calm Taupe” Is Available Now

Following its return in 2020, it’s been nothing but up for the New Balance 2002 — or, rather, 2002R as it’s now referred. Thanks to both a drove of collaborations and equally coveted inline releases, the silhouette has continued to stay relevant throughout the past two years. And as this one winds down to a close, the brand is stocking their shelves with additional colorways, such as the now available “Calm Taupe.”

This pair is essentially the 2002R at its most simple. “Calm Taupe” dresses the upper almost comprehensively, painting its suede paneling, mesh inserts, and laces. Hits of white, too, are present, though only across the “N” logo and midsole, the latter of which is also partly colored with an off-white hue. The colorway is then rounded out with black treads and seldom touches of Silver Metallic.

For a closer look at this everyday 2002R, check out the official images below. If you’re interested in a pair, find them right now at newbalance.com for a retail of $140 USD.

In case you missed it, the Sand Foam Runner is returning at select retailers tomorrow.
