The Latest New Balance 2002R Samples A Boston “Rain Cloud”

The Latest New Balance 2002R Samples A Boston “Rain Cloud”

On a gloomy Boston afternoon, thick nimbus clouds fill the sky as those on the sidewalks and in crosswalks motion towards the torrential downpour that’s about to ensue. For the latest iteration of their lifestyle model rooted in performance running, the New Balance 2002R is harkening the hue of a Bostonian “Rain Cloud”.

A continuation of the brand’s neutral-toned offerings, the latest installment covers the premium suede panels of the upper in a light murky gray while the underlying mesh construction, laces and N logos receive a strong sampling of “Angora” that travels along the midsole. A taste of “Sweet Caramel” cascades over the outers of the perforated lower heel and tongue branding with the outsole opting for a charcoal and white speckled outsole.

For a closer look at the upcoming 2002R, enjoy the official images below. While pairs are only available in Europe currently, we should be hearing about a stateside release soon.
