It’s no secret that the Air Jordan 1 is one of the most-coveted sneakers currently on the market. As such, Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe has dressed up in various ensembles with the goal of tending to ever-changing consumer needs. Case in point?: The sneaker’s Acclimate iteration.
Prepped for the colder seasons of the year, the Jordan 1 Acclimate features weather-resistant leather across the upper and fleece inner-lining. For the latest update to the late Peter Moore’s iconic design, however, the Jumpman family has revisited an inaugural color-blocking colloquially dubbed the “[insert color here] Toe.” Mustard-reminiscent yellow animates the toe box and panels around the heel, while the panels around the forefoot and along the tongue opt for a pitch-black counterpart. Akin to one of the original Jordan 1 styles, the remaining underlays, then, deviate in a simple white look that allows for the slightest of contrast to revel in the spotlight. Underfoot, the story stays the same.
