Pharrell Returns To Animal Print For His Next adidas NMD Hu Drop

Pharrell Returns To Animal Print For His Next adidas NMD Hu Drop

Pharrell Williams is a busy man. In addition to working with the likes of TOBE NWIGWE, the Virginia-native has been conjuring up his next adidas NMD Hu project with his Three Stripes family.

Unlike the earliest versions of Williams’ Boost-cushioned designs for adidas, the latest proposition from “Skateboard P” indulges in an all-over pattern that makes yesteryear’s predominantly tonal pairs seem tame. Bold blue-colored Primeknit sets the stage for a series of embroidered patterns that arguably draw inspiration from tribal garments. The yellow and black circular detailing introduces a disparate color combination of its own, but is joined by the vibrant green laces and orange components along the profiles in making the newly-surfaced style on of Pharrell’s wildest adidas NMD offerings. Lastly, Boost midsoles also indulge in bold blue flair, abandoning the all-white look it once relied on exclusively.

Enjoy campaign imagery of the pair ahead, and anticipate an adidas.com, adidas CONFIRMED app and select retailer launch starting on Saturday, August 13th, for $220 USD.

Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, Yeezy Slides continue to dominate the footwear space.
