For its latest proposition, Tinker Hatfield’s first design for Michael Jordan’s eponymous sneaker line has indulged in shimmering golden accents atop a classic “Black Cement” look.
Although to be offered exclusively in women’s sizing, the upcoming retro has garnered attention from all types of members from the sneaker-loving community for its mix of heritage with fashion-forward flair. “Black,” “Cement Grey” and “Fire Red” reprise their traditional roles, recreating the debut Jordan 3 style from 1988; “Metallic Gold” flair, however, enters the mix via the tongue, perforated panels along the tongue and underlays at the spine, breathing new life to the decades-old design. Lastly, all-“Black” branding at the spine delivers a compelling finish that further makes the women’s “Black Cement Gold” style fresh.
