This Nike Air Trainer 1 Recalls A Memorable Bo Jackson Ad

Bo Jackson was a dream athlete for Nike as his multi-sport dominance aligned perfectly with the mission behind their cross-training category. The Air Trainer series, in all of its forms, were designed to be suitable for all sorts of athletic fields, and few possessed superiority in multiple fields like Mr. Jackson.

This upcoming Air Trainer 1 release is colored in all white leather, but with the outsole features a two-toned blocking that matches perfectly with the Kansas City Royals uniforms. The “Don’t I Know You” line, the first scripted verse of that iconic ad, is featured behind the tongue tags, while the heel features some heavy stitching that is seen on footballs and baseball gloves – a nod to Bo’s brief yet illustrious careers in the NFL and MLB.
