This Air Jordan 1 Mid Veers Close To The Beloved “Hyper Royal” Colorway

While not uncommon to see the Air Jordan 1 Mid draw inspiration from past releases, the silhouette does typically look further back to classics like the “Bred” or the “Chicago.” But here, Jordan Brand has dialed the clock back only about a year, ostensibly taking cues from the beloved “Hyper Royal” colorway introduced in 2021.

There are, however, a few key differences: the Wings/Jumpman logo, for example, are clad in a bright red, and the adjacent laces and lining are instead dressed a deep blue. The neighboring construction, though, is near identical to the “Hyper Royal,” opting for an uncannily similar shade of blue through its suede overlays. Moreover, the base, Swoosh, and midsole proffer additional points of comparison, as they deliver a close but not exact arrangement of white and grey.

Compare the two for yourself below, as official images of this Air Jordan 1 Mid have recently surfaced. A release is surely coming up soon, likely to hit Nike.com as well as select retailers.
