The Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 Gets A Spark With “Magic Ember”

The Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 Gets A Spark With “Magic Ember”

The Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 may be helping Christian Tresser’s original design celebrate its 25th anniversary, but it’s also cementing itself as one of the brand’s most compelling eco-friendly options to date.

Recently, the trail-inspired, partly-recycled proposition emerged in a mix of “Black,” “Magic Ember,” “Hyper Royal” and “Ironstone,” creating an ensemble reminiscent of one of the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low collaborations from November 2021. Weatherized mudguards join porous mesh layers to create a familiar, but refreshing arrangement; reworked profile swooshes and other branding also help. Underfoot, the full-length Air Max unit is wedged between Nike Grind solutions, which make something out of up-cycled manufacturing scraps.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch before 2022 ends.

In related sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 is set to release in new colorways soon.
