Just a few seasons ago, Nike dedicated colorways to flora of all kinds, documenting them along the uppers of many an Air Force 1. And though less detailed compared to these prior efforts, this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid proves that the brand still maintains their green thumb.
Not all is littered with green, however, as the shoe opts for relatively standard materials and a colorway reminiscent of the “Shattered Backboard.” Blacks and bright oranges dress the forefoot and heel counter/ankle flaps, respectively, dyeing layers of pebbled, basketball-like texture. And much like the Wings logo, the Swoosh is done up in the darker neutral, its smooth leather wrapped by vines rife with its own blooming flowers.
