The Nike SB Dunk High “Giants” Nods To McCovey Cove

The Nike SB Dunk High “Giants” Nods To McCovey Cove

With the 2022 MLB All-Star Game just days away, Nike is ready to launch some SB Dunks inspired by heated rivalries in Major League Baseball. The Mets and the Phillies are batting lead-off with releases scheduled on July 14th, but waiting on deck is this San Francisco Giants pair matched up with the Dodgers in SoCal.

This upcoming release captures the classic uniforms of the Bay Area team, with cream colored uppers complemented by orange and black accents that mimic the lettering on the jerseys. The upper sports a blend of suede and jersey mesh. The key details on the SB Dunk MLB Pack are the illustrations embroidered onto the back sides of the tongue tabs; on this pair, you’ll see a canoe — a nod to the lurkers that wait for home-run balls that splash onto McCovey Cove  — and a giant baseball mitt that sits in the outfield seats.

Currently, a SNKRS release date is not known yet, although these are beginning to appear at skateshops across the globe.
