Kerwin Frost Presents Two Imaginative Colorways Of The adidas Microbounce

Having turned the Superstar supersized and the Forum Mid into the stuff of nightmares, Kerwin Frost has certainly established himself as one of adidas’ most unique collaborators. And after a brief hiatus, the multi-hyphenate is dropping two wildly different colorways of the Microbounce.

The first is sure to be familiar to fans of Frost’s prior collaborations, as it dons a multi-color palette reminiscent of his Forum Low. Many of the same hues — from the shoe’s deep reds to its light, sky blues — are present here, dressing the construction’s leathers, faux fur accents, and signature Bounce sole. Additionally, a strap has been affixed to the upper, its surface stamped with Kerwin Frost’s name as well as the portrait of what seems to be a new Benchmate.

In contrast, the “YTI” colorway is near monochromatic, sporting a light blue throughout most of its upper and sole unit. And though it may lack the color variety of its counterpart, the shoe more than makes up for it with inspiration, as it draws clear design cues from the Yeti suit Frost wore during previous campaigns.
