Sneaker News Sometimes the subtlest of changes can make the most drastic of differences. This upcoming Air Jordan 9 “Fire Red” is an example of these impactful modifications, because the simple addition of Fire Red has given a quick facelift to the Air Jordan 9.
Grey is not a stranger to the Air Jordan 9; the Air Jordan 9 “Cool Grey” from 2002 and Air Jordan “Flint” from 2003 demonstrate just how perfect the neutral shade works on the AJ9. In fact the base of this upcoming release seems to combine the two as it takes the color-blocking of the latter with the patent leather application of the former. This 2022 version, however, adds a dose of Fire Red to the lace eyelets, heel-tab, and Jumpman branding, delivering something relatively new to the Air Jordan 9 line-up.
A release date is currently expected for November 5th, 2022. If you’re looking for something a bit sooner, the Air Jordan 9 “Particle Grey” will release on June 21st on SNKRS and partnering retailers.
