While Nike may push circular design with collections the likes of Space Hippie and Next Nature, few of their releases embody the principle quite like adidas’ “Made To Be Remade” series, whose offerings can be returned and then entirely remade. Even shoes engineered for the outdoors are no exception, as this TERREX Free Hiker — which is the first TERREX shoe in the collection — more than proves.
Compared to previous iterations of the Free Hiker, this pair proffers a far simpler, more streamlined construction. The upper, which is made out of a TPU knit, does use the original model as a baseline, however, as the weave traces its various contours in “Core Black.” Adjacent, the laces, eye stays, heel pulls, and the like also incorporate said neutral, directly contrasting the white of the “TERREX” branding and full BOOST sole unit.
Enjoy an official look at the TERREX Free Hiker “Made To Be Remade” right here. They’re currently scheduled to release at adidas.com on June 13th at a retail of $275 USD.
