Classic “Black/Red” Styling Lands On This Kid’s Nike Air Max Plus

Classic “Black/Red” Styling Lands On This Kid’s Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max 97 has done a lot over the last 25 years. As it celebrates its milestone anniversary, Sergio Lozano’s revolutionary design has appeared in compelling “Black” and “University Red” styling.

Currently only expected to launch in Grade School sizing, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a mix of tumbled leather, mesh and other materials across its upper and sole unit. Branding at the top of the tongue and lower profiles interrupt their predominantly pitch-dark surroundings, while the full-length Air Max unit underfoot does the same. Midsole foam components don a contrasting “White” hue that positions the 1997 proposition beside some of Michael Jordan’s most iconic silhouettes.

No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as autumn inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
