Nike’s Brushstroke Swoosh Reappears On This Upcoming Air Force 1

Over the course of the last few years, Nike has become less reluctant to indulge their artistic side. And just as they did many a time in the past, the brand is applying their brushstroke Swoosh to this kids’ Air Force 1.

Embroidered and painted checks, both in a bright green, dress the vamp and side, respectively, the latter of which applied underneath a transparent cut-out of the very same logo. This, then, leads the eye to the heel tab, whose bright orange coloring — which matches the “Nike Air” on the tongue — highlights the fixture’s use of a textural, longhair suede. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction is far more standard, relying on a white leather build; only the sole is somewhat unique, as its speckling suggests that recycled materials are involved.
