The Latest Nike Air Max 90 Jewel Dresses Up In A Greyscale Outfit

Over the course of its existence, the Nike Air Max 90 has helped bring ubiquity to the swoosh logo. With its latest proposition, Tinker Hatfield’s design continues doing so, though it exchanges Carolyn Davidson’s original design with the jewel swoosh.

Hits of grey and black divvy up the 1990 performance-running design, with the latter tone taking over the logos at the profiles, tongue label and spine. Mesh and leather construction throughout the pair’s top-half opt for a greyscale medley that spills over to the Air Max-assisted sole unit underfoot. Together, the aforementioned components deliver a refreshing proposition to the sneaker’s historic catalog.

No firm Nike.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
