Naruto And Jordan Brand Team Up For The Upcoming Air 200E SP “Jonin”

Naruto And Jordan Brand Team Up For The Upcoming Air 200E SP “Jonin”

Back in April, Zion Williamson introduced Jordan Brand to the world of Naruto, using the series as inspiration for not only apparel but also a couple Zion 1s. And the two’s nods to the iconic anime/manga don’t stop here, as a Jonin-inspired Air 200SE SP will also be dropping on May 18th.

While some are sure to liken these to Kakashi, the ever-beloved Copycat Ninja, it’s more likely that the colorway celebrates the Jonin as a whole, since there’s no appearance of the character’s Sharingan. The Uzumaki Clan’s symbol instead sits front and center, dressing both the tongue and right insole; this complements the olive suedes around the mid-panel and eye stays, as they come together to pay homage to the ninjas’ flak vests. Their wrappings, navy garb, and headbands are also referenced by way of the toe, adjacent paneling, and the Leaf Village icon chiseled into the silver portions of the heel.

For a closer look at the Naruto x Jordan Air 200E SP “Jonin,” check out the official images below. These are slated to hit Nike.com on May 18th.

In other news, the Zion 1 Nine Tails also releases on May 18th.
