Though revealed at the tail end of 2021, the Nike PG 6 has released only a few pairs in the past few months. But following a series of new colorways, things are finally looking up for Paul George’s sixth signature — especially with the appearance of this black and white colorway.
Thanks to the black-on-white palette, the construction creates the illusion of cow print, as the dark finish of the circular overlays clash against the white-dominant backdrop. This look is carried over to the bottom, appearing more dynamic due to the sole unit’s many individual parts. Branding, then, rounds out the upper with pops of color: the medial Swoosh proffers a subtle hit of blue, while the lateral, backwards version of the logo opts for a light peach like that of the signature at the tongue.
