Throughout 2022, NIKE, Inc. has been teasing the Nike Air Force 1‘s 40th anniversary via solo efforts, expansive collections and high-profile collaborations. Recently, the Oregon-based sportswear giant unveiled Bruce Kilgore’s iconic silhouette with world championship belt lace dubraes.
Clad in a classic “White” and “Black” ensemble, the newly-surfaced pair features a mix of textures and finishes throughout its oft-imitated upper. Cracked leather takes over toe boxes and mid-foot panels, while surrounding overlays indulge in smooth counterparts akin to the original Air Force 1 Low. Profile swooshes and Achilles’ heel panels introduce a patent leather look into the mix, complimenting the pitch-dark outsole well. “NIKE AIR” text on the tongue label and spine don a shimmering golden arrangement that also lands on the championship belt-shaped lace dubraes found at the vamp of the shoes.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch soon.
