As the Nike Air Force 1 High continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design has indulged in several outfits, both in-line and collaborative. For its latest addition to the former category, the made-for-basketball silhouette has dressed up in a predominantly two-tone style reminiscent of ones from its earliest run.
“White,” smooth leather covers most of the upcoming sneakers, with the exception of the mid-foot panels, which deviate in a summer-friendlier woven material. Perhaps part of a larger Nike Sportswear collection, the high-top Air Force 1 introduces a contrasting chocolate brown hue via the profile swooshes, collar lining, branding on the heel and tried-and-proven traction. In addition to commemorating the 1980s via its color palette and arrangement, the next High boasts a slightly-yellowed midsole for vintage effect.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and expect a Nike.com launch during the summer.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Jordan release dates 2022 schedule has plenty of drops left.
