Introduced in the last two years, the Nike Dunk Low Scrap has helped the brand not only move its sustainability efforts forward, but also breathe new life into Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design. As spring inches closer, the silhouette has emerged in a mismatched, predominantly white and black colorway.

Reminiscent of an early VaporMax EVO, which combines a handful of past Air Max silhouettes, the newly-surfaced proposition couples a mix of up-cycled materials with a two-tone makeover and disparate contrasting accents. Given their “scrap” origins, the synthetic leather and mesh panels throughout the pair’s upper indulge in non-standard, seemingly random cuts and placements. Shimmering silver components land on the Nike Dunk‘s forefoot, while conspicuous stitching along the profiles and on the tongue introduce red, blue, pink and green flair into the mix. Underfoot, sole units deliver the only sense of symmetry found on the low-top pair, indulging in a “colorless” midsole and vibrant blue outsole.

Enjoy official images of the shoes ahead, and expect a Nike SNKRS release date soon.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh’s umbrella, the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” is anticipated to return before 2022 ends.
