Who knew chocolate and strawberry would pair well together? Combined with vanilla, that Neapolitan flavor combination has served sneakers well, although we’ve only seen it emerge on a few occasions. First was 2005’s Nike SB Dunk Low by Stussy, a shoe that was lightly referenced years later with Travis Scott’s first Air Jordan 1. Even the recent emergence of the Air Jordan 3 “Neapolitan” made fine use of the pink and brown combination, but how’s it look on the Dunk Low Scrap?
Nike’s rebuilding of the Dunk using spare factory store scraps has been just one of many Dunk reiterations of the modern era, and with so many parts making up the model, the color-blocking possibilities are quite endless. For this upcoming drop, Nike adds the familiar shades of chocolate brown with a muted pink, but adds in its own touches via the pecan brown and latte cream white. Not quite the Stussy SB Dunk colorway we remember, but definitely the same flavor profile.
This Nike Dunk Low Scrap will arrive on Nike.com and retailers for the Spring/Summer 2022 season.
