Nike’s “Green Snake” Makeover Appears On The Air Huarache

Nike’s “Green Snake” Makeover Appears On The Air Huarache

A year removed from its 30th anniversary, the Nike Air Huarache has expended virtually all of its original colorways. Throughout 2022’s first three months, Tinker Hatfield’s design has emerged in handfuls of refreshing styles, with the latest being a “Green Snake” take.

The neoprene material that made the silhouette one of the more comfortable propositions of 1991 is reworked at the toe in order to compliment the snakeskin print found at the tip of the toe and along the profiles. The scuba suit-inspired component, however, is given an off-white look that allows the surrounding green details to revel in the spotlight. Air Huarache logos on the top of the tongue and “NIKE”-branded heel clips don the sneakers’ brightest shades of green, matching a recently-surfaced Air Max 95 in the process.

No firm Nike.com release details have been disclosed yet, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the shoes ahead.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Georgetown” is set to finally launch stateside on April 2nd.
