“We’ll Take It From Here” Marks This Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 High Sculpt

“We’ll Take It From Here” Marks This Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 High Sculpt

The Nike Air Force 1‘s 40th Anniversary, though still yet to receive an official announcement, has progressed in a variety of ways. We can expect not only a collaboration with Stussy but also a series of GR colorways. And the latest to join the latter is a mended Air Force 1 High Sculpt, whose heel and insole spell out “We’ll Take It From Here.”

While the bright-threaded repairs — which dress the forefoot as well as the top end of the eye stays — may indicate a nod to customizers and cobblers, it seems more likely that the aforementioned text celebrates Nike’s customer service. In a tweet reply from 2018, a brand representative used this exact phrase, and it’s surely not the only instance. As for the surrounding construction, the pair indulges primarily in neutrals: white shades build out the tumbled leather portions, off-white colors the suedes, and grey finishes both the Swoosh as well as the outsole. Elsewhere, a subtle pop of green marks the cross stitched heel tab and a yellowed hue outfits the midsole.

For a closer look at this AF1 High Sculpt, see the official images below. A release date is still TBD, but more info should surface very soon.
