In addition to a number of special releases prepped by the likes of Drake, the Nike Air Force 1 Low is celebrating its own 40th anniversary with dozens of fresh, non-collaborative colorways. Case in point?: A mostly “White” option featuring barley-colored paisley patterns at the profile swooshes and upper heel tab.
Tumbled leather panels cover the pair’s entire upper, as is the case with some of the Air Force 1‘s most iconic styles. Sole units underfoot, designed by Bruce Kilgore for the game of basketball, also opt for a “colorless” arrangement, allowing for the drab colors that animate branding on the tongue label, sidewall and spine to revel in the spotlight. While not as clad in the titular greenish tone as a previously-seen Nike Dunk Low “Barley Paisley”, the upcoming shoes deliver another refreshing take on the 1982 classic.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch as summer inches closer.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, there are several Jordan release dates 2022 scheduled for the remainder of March.
