thisisneverthat Reunites With New Balance For A Duo Of Neutral-Dressed 860 v2s

thisisneverthat Reunites With New Balance For A Duo Of Neutral-Dressed 860 v2s

Back in 2020, New Balance celebrated the return of the 2002R with a series of collaborations, the greatest of which belonged to the Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat. And after two years since this partnership, the two are finally reuniting, doing so atop both apparel and (surprisingly) the 860 v2.

The tees, hoodies, beanies, and the like are simple co-branded fare. Dressed in either heather grey, black, or red, the pieces feature simple co-branded lock-ups and subtle athletics-inspired tags. Outerwear, too, is dressed in many of these same details, though their tracksuit and varsity jacket base are far more interesting inherently.

As for the 860 v2, the sneaker is to arrive in a duo of neutral colorways, the lighter of which is not unlike one of the aforementioned 2002Rs. A slight vintage tint is applied to leather exterior, complementing the cream finish that the laces and midsole employ. Elsewhere, the “NB” logo along the tongue is printed in a bright red, the only color shared by the accompanying black alternate. If not for its silver metallic “N” logo and decals, the latter would easily fit within the “Triple Black” criteria.

The capsule is scheduled to release at the following times:

Korea: 2/10, 10am KST, Online/In-store
EU: 2/10, 2am ET, Online
US: 2/9, 5pm PST/8pm ET, Online
