Mache Customs x New Balance 57/40 Pizza-Inspired Collaboration Coming Soon

Mache Customs x New Balance 57/40 Pizza-Inspired Collaboration Coming Soon

Dan Gamache aka Mache Customs has been at the forefront of the custom sneaker game for over a decade, blessing pro wrestlers and the likes of LeBron James and Steph Curry with one-of-one footwear. He took his aspirations to the next step and launched his own sneaker, the Mache Runner. Now, he’s working in collaboration with New Balance to launch his first shoe with the brand on the 57/40 silhouette, officially revealed on his Instagram account.

With a release date pointing to February 9th aka National Pizza Day, the Mache x New Balance 57/40 features colors and details typical of your local pizzeria eatery. A cheesy pizza with pepperoni and other toppings appear on the insole, while a red/white tablecloth pattern jumps off the tongue label as well the custom logo. The upper is a mix of tan dough, green oregano, and other seasonings typically found on the hand-held food.

An official announcement should arrive soon, but expect these on February 9th if you’re a fan of Mache’s work. In other NB news, check out the latest updates on the New Balance 550.
