The Nike SB imprint has been churning out modified versions of the Nike Dunk for 20 years, but some of its most-celebrated silhouettes by diehard skaters deviate from Peter Moore’s iconic design. Riders like Grant Taylor have taken a liking to the Nike SB Blazer Low, which has recently appeared in light blue and denim courtesy of the Georgia-native.
Playing counterpart to a previously-surfaced style in darker indigo, the upcoming sneakers feature a high quality leather throughout most of the upper. forgoing the suede and canvas used in most of Taylor’s designs. Profile swooshes, however, introduce a panel of denim into the mix, which will surely deliver a unique look with wear and tear. Tongue labels and sock-liners maintain the now-signature 1970s American muscle car-inspired styling, while collar lining and upper heel panels indulge in new perforated leather and exposed “do-it-yourself” stitching, respectively. Underfoot, the SB Blazer Low GT adds yet another “Light Gum Brown” tally to Taylor’s growing footwear roster.
