NIKE, Inc. produced a footwear and apparel collection in time for Chinese New Year, but logistical issues have staggered much of its launch. Yet, a Nike Air Force 1 Low inspired by the “Year of the Tiger” has recently landed at stateside retailers in Pre-School sizing.
Crafted from durable canvas, the newly-surfaced sneakers indulge in a “Gym Red” colorway that’s supported by hits of “University Gold,” “Black” and other tones. Sole units are left to revel in a clean “White” look, while toe areas boast the pair’s most eye-catching detail: a wild cat-reminiscent series of patches, accents and “whiskers.” “T” logos on the top of the tongue denote the Air Force 1‘s inclusion in Nike’s “Year of the Tiger” capsule, while design cues at the collar, inner lining and heel also contribute to the kid’s shoes’ theme.
