This March, Air Max Day is sure to introduce a drove of newcomers, which likely includes the Air Max Scorpion revealed last week. This leaves only a couple more months of spotlight for last year’s silhouette, the Air Max Pre-Day.
Just one of many upcoming appearances, this pair seems to lean on tried-and-true colors. A grey sets the mesh base, which is dressed atop with both suede and canvas panels. Both, in contrast to the more saturated gold of the leather Swoosh, tint a tan just a bit darker than the “Sail” of the midsole below. Blue, then, rounds out the palette with seldom but notable hits to the eye stays and the tooling’s heel.
