This Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Light Smoke Grey” Sneaks In Alternate Swooshes

While the Air Force 1 Low is clearly the most ubiquitous classic model being pushed by Nike, 1977’s Blazer is likely a strong second. The “vintage” edition made a strong re-introduction into the market beginning in 2019 and has since become available in a near endless supply of color swaps while being included in nearly every seasonal collection that the Swoosh had to offer. The Plant Dye Pack, the Have A Good Game Series, the upcoming Athletic Club Pack – you name it, and the Blazer got the invite.

We’ll always appreciate the cleaner, simpler, more understated looks that this “Light Smoke Grey” offers, solely for its versatility. It literally goes with any outfit you can think of, and while this classic package is actually prized for its lack of character (in a good way), these do hide an alternate Swoosh color-blocking.

While this fresh drop is now available in select retailers in Japan, a US release will likely come sometime in the early part of 2022.
