NEIGHBORHOOD Kicks Off The Year With A Paisley-Dressed adidas NMD R1

NEIGHBORHOOD Kicks Off The Year With A Paisley-Dressed adidas NMD R1

Few have what NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas do, a long-standing relationship that’s been going strong since well-before 2021. And come next year, 2022, we can expect much of the same, the two kicking things off with two colorways of the NMD R1.

Reigniting the energy behind the silhouette, the Japanese label have made use of a number of noteworthy tweaks. Structurally, the pair appears far more robust thanks in part to the suede overlays along the toe cap, eye stays, and three stripes. Moreover, the base itself, which seems thicker than your average Primeknit, is printed atop with a custom paisley print; its florals wrap across the shoe in near entirety, colored white to stand out against the black and navy backdrops.

Cushioned with dual-toned, partially aged BOOST, the NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD R1 is currently scheduled to release on January 2nd.

In other news, the Air Force 1 Year of the Tiger was just unveiled.
