Designed for basketball in 1983, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has since become a go-to option among fashion-goers, not hoopers. Yet, the brand continues to celebrate the model’s basketball-informed heritage, with the latest example arriving in the form of a seemingly-kid’s-exclusive collection nodding to various touch-points of the game.
Outfitted in a number of tones, including a basketball-reminiscent orange, the newly-surfaced pair also features jersey mesh material at the mid-foot and tongue. While not a standard design choice, the detail ties the low-top Air Force 1 to a larger collection that’ll also include an Air More Uptempo. Additional branding at the quarter panel and lateral heel also suggest the sneaker’s thematic arrangement, though the corduroy-like fabric that appears on the collar and inner-lining also injects a special quality to the shoes.
Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch in the first-half of 2022.
