Known for its showcasing a roster of renowned musical talent against minimalist, monochromatic set designs, COLORSxSTUDIOS – or simply COLORS – has recently unveiled a two-pair sneaker collaboration with New Balance.
Touted as the ultimate leisure shoe, the New Balance 327 has appeared in its fair share of tonal styles since debuting in April 2019. For the Boston-based brand’s latest joint-venture, the 1970s-inspired silhouette features either an all-white or all-black arrangement courtesy of the unique music discovery platform. Suede and nylon come together across each option’s upper, offering a “blank canvas” for self-expression; COLORS-specific branding is stamped on the lateral heel and attached hangtag, as well as on the tongue label and Achilles’ heel overlay. Further personalizing the 327, the studio has added wine-colored lace toggles and bead-like dubraes to the shoes. Lastly, the “A stage for today, a stage for tomorrow” collection sees the low-top silhouette donning a speckled midsole.
