Oftentimes, Nike’s platform shoes are as eccentric as they are tall. Same can be said for Jordan Brand’s offerings save for the Air Jordan 1 Low LV8D, a new model that simply adds height to the beloved classic.
Unlike the grey-on-white pair revealed earlier in the week, this colorway is far more heritage-inspired, borrowing the likeness of the “Bred” color scheme. Both the black and red shades are used similar to how they were years prior, dressing throughout the low-top upper along with its minimal Wings logo and branding-removed tongue. Below, the tooling is relatively true to its influences as well, albeit only tonally as the midsole is given platform height.
Enjoy a close-up look at these below. A release is sure to land soon at Nike.com and select retailers.
In other news, the Nike Air Max Penny 1 Orlando is returning next year.
