The Women’s Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka Finally Appears In Classic All-“White”

The Women’s Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka Finally Appears In Classic All-“White”

Very few sneakers have reached widespread popularity as the all-“White” Nike Air Force 1, which explains why the Others 1s Foundation and other organizations have been founded around the shoe. Recently, the brand modified Bruce Kilgore’s decades-old design with Nike React foam for the Fontanka line of women’s products.

At a quick glance, the newly-surfaced pair is unmistakably an Air Force 1, but closer inspection reveals some fashion-forward differences from the model’s standard design. Synthetic leather across the upper is coupled with varying stitching orientations, while lace guards are doubled à la sacai. Three different-colored miniature swooshes replace traditional branding on the top of the tongue, as Achilles’ heel panels go logo-less. Lastly, the sole unit indulges in the silhouette’s biggest update, donning modernized foam and an eccentric layout inspired by Eastern European rave culture.

Official Nike.com release details haven’t been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as 2022 gets underway. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair here below.

For more from under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” returns for the first time ever on December 11th, and in sizes for the whole family.
