New silhouettes are nothing uncommon for the Nike umbrella. In the past few months, for example, the brand has brought out the Air Sesh, a dance-specific Blazer Mid ’77, and even a platform-soled Air Jordan 1 Low. Unfortunately, ACG and ISPA haven’t been given the same attention, their offerings effectively coming to a halt. But to fill the void, the Swoosh is introducing a new trail runner: the Free Terra Vista.
Presented in two colorways, the shoe — which some retailers have previously dubbed the NSW Remastered — is a display of outdoors aesthetics wrought from reclaimed materials. This is signaled by the circular design logo found at the insole and tongue, the latter of which proffers a breathable mesh fabric like the mid-panels at the sides. And for reinforcement, these fixtures as well as the more robust canvas adjacent are then armored with FlyLeather overlays and a Grind Rubber counter. Below, the Free tooling is upgraded to handle the outdoors, improved with a more cushioned midsole and traction-focused tread.
Earth tone dominant for its inaugural run, the NSW Free Remastered should hit Nike.com and select retailers soon as it recently made its debut in the EU.
In other news, the Foam Runner Vermillion releases tomorrow.
