New Balance XC-72 Marked With “Washed Henna” Suede

New Balance XC-72 Marked With “Washed Henna” Suede

Isn’t it about time for another New Balance XC-72 collaboration? Relying on Casablanca to bring the new lifestyle silhouette into the fold, New Balance has now pushed out a series of in-line colorways that speak to the casual nature of the model. From light cream suedes to forest greens, the NB color team is clearly sticking to that retro runner look that has been in heavy use on their older heritage models in the 99X range. Up next is an attractive “Washed Henna” hue – a blend between red and brown that skews slightly more towards the former. A light salmon is seen at the toe underlay and tongue, with a cream color heel bumper at the exterior. The customary gum outsole that scoops up the forefoot returns.

A release date is currently marked for October 23rd, 2021 on NewBalance.com, with an MSRP curiously lowered to $100. If you’re a major fan of this model, make sure you catch a glimpse of the New Balance XC-72 “Dry Sage” which also releases on the same day.
