Despite being bought by VF Corp. (the parent company of Vans and The North Face) in November 2020, Supreme has continued working with NIKE, Inc. on handfuls of products. The latest?: Two pairs of the Nike Cross Trainer Low.
Scheduled to release on October 14th, both styles are seemingly part of the Swoosh’s revitalization of its Air Trainer line given that they’re arriving before the Air Trainer 1‘s 35th anniversary. Each sneaker indulges in hits of red and green, with white and black bases setting the stage for these aforementioned tones. The $1+ billion company hasn’t disclosed the inspiration behind its upcoming collaboration, but the pairs are reminiscent of the Pan-African and Rastafarian flags (the white option also includes vibrant yellow across its perforated leather and canvas upper heel panel). “Supreme”-branding is partly-hidden on the spine, while “NIKE” text on the tongue opts for a discreet embossed makeup.
Enjoy campaign imagery of the shoes here below, as you wait for October 14th to try your luck.
