With the debut of the YZY QNTM, adidas Yeezy revealed their intent to explore the performance category. And after over a year, glimpses of a new court-ready silhouette — the YZY BSKTBL KNIT 3D — have finally boiled to the surface.
Pictured here in a “Slate Blue” colorway, the silhouette is not too unlike its direct predecessor. The tooling, for example, is exactly the same, its partially see-through walls revealing of the BOOST within. Above, however, things begin to deviate as the upper lacks much of the same structure in favor of a more breathable, flexible Primeknit construction. The collar cuts much higher as well, creating a sock-like feel in tandem with the elastic composition.
Grab a very quick peek at the shoe here and sit tight as we await further details.
In other news, a Yeezy MX Slide seems to coming soon.
