And with his next project, the designer is further assimilating into the Clarks Originals family as he creative directs the brand new “8th Street” collection.
A reference to where it all began, 8th Street pushes Clarks further into lifestyle. The two inaugural silhouettes take the footwear brand’s years of expertise and lenses it through Fieg’s personal taste and style. Named after one of Clarks’ earliest factories, the Lockhill proffers a sleek, runner-inspired shape that’s elevated not only by way its rich suede fabrication but also the crepe sole unit underfoot. In contrast, the Sandford — which draws inspiration from the very first warehouse instead — emulates a classic court aesthetic with the same luxe furnishes as its aforementioned counterpart.
