Michael Le Thanks to its ties to the legendary Michael Jordan, the University of North Carolina’s color scheme has become extremely popular to the masses. In the past year, this has become all the more apparent as the AJ1 and AJ4 added large amounts of fuel to the flame. In 2022, we wholeheartedly expect the heat to further build thanks to this game-ready Air Jordan 6.
While equally UNC in spirit as the aforementioned, the pair first puts a neutral foot forward. The overlays along the side as well as the entire heel, for instance, are dressed in white leathers, obstructed by very little save for the counter’s athletics-inspired label. Black, then, contrasts along the top line and midsole, sandwiching both its tonal opposite and the bright “University Blue” that dyes the suede base, nylon lace shield, tongue, and the subtler details adjacent.
